The alto saxophone player in this band being a good friend of mine (and the brother of my houselord, guess who got me the room  ), I arrived at the venue before the soundcheck, so during the soundcheck I could walk all over the stage and take these close-up photos of one of my jazz heroes and living legend Dr. Lonnie Smith.Needless to say, the concert was absolutely fantastic! |
